Do you want to take some photos of the Eiffel Tower but you’re not sure where to go? The Eiffel Tower is without a doubt the most photographed landmark in Paris. (Tips: consider the lighting, try 6 pm when there are fewer crowds, and photograph very little in the foreground.)
Where is the Eiffel Tower?
The Eiffel Tower is located in the 7th arrondissement, in southwestern Paris. The Eiffel
Tower has the Seine River on on side and a big park called the Champ de Mars on the other.
Many of the Eiffel Tower photography sites listed here are located in the 7th, 8th or 16th
arrondisements. As a young man, I lived in the 16th arrondisement at 3 rue due Lota. These
three areas surrounding the Eiffel Tower are the best views of it.
I have seen the Eiffel Tower countless times but my jaw still drops every time I see it. I
love how the iron lady can pop up when you least expect it, around a corner, between streets
or even during a metro ride. The prettiest views however are when you walk around Paris.
