Bucket List Destinations for 2024

Will this be your year of travel?  In a world of confusion, wars, rumors of wars, and commotion, you can travel to more peaceful locations and check those dream locations off your bucket list.

For example, this May we are offering a French River Cruise en provence in Southern France.

Or what about a trip up the inside passage as you explore the beauties of Alaska.

Celebrity Solstice - 7N Alaskan Hubbard Glacier Cruise June 2 -9, 2024

And this Fall, we are going to repeat our Caribbean adventure from last November, only this time we will explore the ABC islands.

Costa d'Este!

After a wonderful visit to the West Indies last week and then coming home to snow and below freezing weather, we are already looking for a beach get-away trip in January.  This is Black Friday weekend and tomorrow is Cyber Monday.

Our favorite Villa in Florida, the Costa d'Este is running a promotion of up to 40% off.  So yesterday we booked our flights to Florida and will be staying at the Costa d'Este January 21-26, 2024. We discovered Vero Beach 4 years ago and this will be our third visit.  Owners, Gloria and Emilio Estefan have brought Miami's chic style and sophistication to Vero Beach - a largely undiscovered treasure a couple of hours North of Miami.  We love the white sand, the quality restaurants, and the refreshing orange slushies combined with vanilla ice cream.

Here are some photos of the resort:

So if you want to join us, please call Costa d'Este now or book online and join us.

Cancun

We escaped Utah's winter to spend a few days in Cancun with Jeremy, Karenin and family. We stayed at the Azul Beach Resort.

What fun!

Our favorite spot?

Definitely the beach beds

We relaxed on our beach beds all day long - why leave?

Naps

Lunch - JJ's favorite, "hangurber!"

Sand is so fun

Water is funner

A little cooling Evian spray

The resort was nice

Definitely oriented toward kiddies

A yoga hut for grandmas

Kid-friendly bar with swinging beds

So-so food - in the restaurant

or on the beach

Pools - but we swam in the sea

The rooms were nice, but smallish

With a beach like this - who cares about rooms?
