Day Eleven - 3 Temple Tour - Rome

We had a full touring day on our 3 Temple Tour by visiting the Pantheon, the Piazza Novana, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, Trajan’s Column, the Roman Forum and toured the Colosseum.  It was a great day to visit Rome.  Tomorrow we visit the Rome Temple of and the Vatican.  Members of our group who had difficulties walking took a golf cart tour for less than 100 Euros and were take to the front of each site we visited and were able to enter.  We met up at the Colosseum.

Rome, often referred to as the "Eternal City," stands as a living testament to the grandeur of ancient civilizations. Trajan's Column stands proudly within the ruins of the Roman Forum, narrating through intricate bas-reliefs the military achievements of Emperor Trajan. The Forum itself, once the bustling heart of the ancient city, now invites exploration of its ancient temples, arches, and civic buildings. Nearby, the Colosseum, an awe-inspiring amphitheater, stands as a symbol of Roman engineering and entertainment. Its colossal architecture once hosted gladiator contests and other spectacles, drawing thousands of spectators to witness the grandeur of the Roman world.
