Swim with the turtles
The best way to encounter and swim with sea turtles in Barbados is to go on a snorkelling catamaran cruise tour. There are a variety of cruises available across the island, which stop at multiple snorkel spots, with some tours even including beverages or lunch, so you can fully enjoy a day out on the water. Some tours include stops at the beach and snorkeling over shipwrecks.
Alternatively you can join a glass-bottom boat cruise for a quick ride out to the turtles and shipwrecks! Another fun option is a kayaking tour which takes you around Carlisle Bay, gliding over shipwrecks in the clear waters below & spotting green and hawksbill turtles.
